At APC, we are constantly striving to provide the best resources and guidance for aspiring pilots. That's why we are excited to invite you to participate in our latest research project aimed at updating our pilot career guidance tools. This briefing note will provide you with more information about the project and how your contribution can help shape the future of pilot training.
How Can You Help Shape the Future of Pilot Training?
Your involvement is crucial in our ongoing efforts to enhance our pilot career guidance tools. The insights provided by the IA (Indicative Assessment) feedback report have been instrumental in assisting tens of thousands of trainee pilots each year. We recognise the value of keeping trainee pilots informed about different pilot career paths and the latest opportunities available to them.
To ensure that our assessments remain at the cutting edge of pilot training, we have partnered with a specialist psychometrics company, Rob Williams Assessment (www.robwilliamsassessment.com). Together, we are updating the Indicative Pilot Assessments to provide even more accurate and valuable insights.
Indicative Pilot Assessment Updates: Join the Trialling Design Phase
In the next phase of our research project, we have reviewed the key competencies required for a successful airline pilot career. Building upon this foundation, we have developed two new components: a Technical Maths assessment and an Airline Pilot Competency Profiler.
Now, we need your assistance in trialling this new airline pilot competency profiler. Your valuable feedback and input will help us refine and improve this assessment, ensuring its effectiveness in evaluating pilot competencies.
Continuing the Members Value of IA Insights: Your Feedback Matters
At APC, we prioritise the value we provide to our members. Once we have gathered sufficient trial participant data, we will update the content of the IA feedback report. This report, along with other career insights, is highly valued by our members, as it provides developmental feedback and guidance to support their pilot career journeys.
We appreciate your willingness to contribute to our research project. By participating in the trialling design phase and providing your feedback, you are actively shaping the future of pilot training and career insights. Together, we can continue to empower aspiring pilots and ensure they have the best resources to succeed in their aviation endeavours.
Join us in this exciting journey of enhancing pilot career guidance. Your contribution makes a difference.
