At Green Flight Academy, we work with a “green mindset” to embrace the future and lead the way in sustainable flight training.

How do we do this?

Our fleet and flight training use the latest in green technologies so that we can educate our pilots from the earliest of stages to be more sustainable. 30% of flight hours are spent in electric aeroplanes, offering one of the world’s most environmentally friendly ways to become a pilot.

Using brand new diesel airplanes and electric airplanes, we can train our pilots with lower emissions and approach training in a way that is crucial for a safe and commercially sustainable transition to a greener aviation industry.

By training with us, our students don’t just hone their skills as pilots, they become ambassadors for a more sustainable future in aviation.

Unique Set Up at A Unique Location

The training takes place in Skellefteå, located in northern Sweden and a centre for green transition in Europe. Here, we can offer our students a completely unique set-up with student accommodation included at the campus in the city centre. Our students fly brand new aeroplanes with the latest technology and conduct flight training in both the midnight sun and the northern lights and are trained to deal with different weather conditions.

Pioneering Sustainable Technologies

Our fleet boasts the latest in green tech, including electric and fuel-efficient diesel aeroplanes. We have the worlds first EASA approved ATPL programme completely designed with a sustainability focus.
